Arrive into Casablanca. Explore the old medina and Art Nouveau Architecture Casablanca is famed for, then dine on fine Moroccan Cuisine at our local favourite.

Tour of the colossal Hasan 11 Mosque, the second largest in the world. We head east to Rabat to enjoy the architecture of the King's Mausoleum built in 1963 and the remains of a great 12th century Mosque complete with splendid views. Travel to the Imperial city of Meknes.

Tour of the granary which in the 17th century stored feed for the King's 12000 horses, and visit his Mausoleum. We visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis which is brought to life via our guide. We then travel on to Fes, the oldest Medina in Morocco.

Discover Fes with our guide, see local handcrafts being manufactured and lose yourself in the labyrinth of this fascinating medina.

We travel from Fes to Midelt through the Cedar Forest of the Middle Atlas, with a stop to meet the indigenous Barbary Apes, over barren highlands and across arid plains. Plenty of photo opportunities.

We drive down from the mountains into the lush oasis of the Ziz Valley with an opportunity to swim or enjoy Les Bleue de Meski a natural cold spring, before we arrive at our hotel on the edge of the Sahara.

Take a 4WD tour of the area around Merzouga, an outpost settlement, and lunch with a nomad family. Optional trip by camel into the dunes to sleep under the stars.

We follow the black desert, travelling through palm fringed oasis towards the valley of a thousand Kasbahs. Explore the Todra Gorge with its sheer rock faces and enjoy local entertainment in the evening.

Leisurely walk with our local guide through the Todra Valley, where you can enjoy the local agriculture and meet the locals.

We take a beautiful drive passing stunning ancient kasbahs set amidst date laden palms and lush gardens. We detour up the Dades Valley for more stunning scenery and then continue to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco with its stunning mountain backdrop used in many movies. Explore this affluent town.

Enjoy a scenic drive over the highest pass through the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakesh. In the evening enjoy the chaos of live entertainment at 'The Place' Djemaa el-Fna.

Guided tour of Marrakesh, with time to explore the souks and alleyways of Old Marrakesh and experience the Moroccan bathhouse (Hamam) if you wish.

Escape the madness of Marrakesh for the day as we drive to the Ourika Valley and wander through the gardens along the river. Lunch with a Berber family.

We head up into the Atlas mountains to a remote village and our hotel at the end of the road.

We head to the coast to enjoy the fresh air and relaxed pace of Essaouira - dubbed the 'jewel of the Atlantic'. Check out the fish market, the local craftsman and art galleries. Relax on the beach or do some shopping.

We take a stunning coastal drive along the Atlantic where we stop at Safi famous for its pottery and then El Jadida for a fine example of Portuguese architecture. Arrive Casablanca.

Andalucian Extension

We head north from Casablanca to Asilah a resort town on the coast.

We take our bus from Asilah to Tangier and then ferry across to Algecciras. We take a train to Ronda, set atop a stunning 100m gorge. Ronda is the birthplace of Bullfighting as it is know today.

Explore this old town and visit Plaza del Toros, the oldest bullring in Spain. We take the train to Granada and catch some local music in the evening.

Explore Granada's shops and markets. Visit the famous Granada Cathedral. Wander the alleys of Albayzin, Granadas old Muslim quarter.

Morning tour of the Alhambra (the Red Castle) built in the 9th century. The Alhambra is a World Heritage site and is considered the most romantic and exciting of all European sites.

Depart Granada for home.
